Demeo instal the last version for ipod3/13/2024 ![]() ![]() It offers a good opportunity to get back into playing board games with friends in a time when it’s not always the smartest idea to do so IRL, but I question whether Demeo has gone far enough to really utilize the full gamut of VR’s immersive possibilities. The basement setting and Monster Manual-esque modules suggest a very in-depth D&D style gameplay experience, but it’s more akin to a more casual turn-based strategy game set in randomized dungeons. i was about to add to cart when i noticed the vr-only and came in the foruns to check.Demeo is a tabletop action RPG that puts you with up to three other players in a co-op battle against pint-sized foes of all makes and models. I almost bought talespire but at the end of the day i can do more with foundry vtt wich i already own.Īnd there it was Demeo, something different, its own ruleset and playing cards. Ive just spent like 150 or so dollars(converting) in this past steam tabletop fest, a couple more prior to that, been saving and focused on rpgs, turn based games etc. im from Brazil, one of the largest gaming markets and here its even worse (insane taxes on top of currency value) ![]() Its expensive by high-income countries standards, its just insane for the rest of the world. If creation would be easier outside of vr that could become a win win for everyone- since non-vr would attract way more user, thus more user content. Getting a little skeptical here, but hoping for the best. Time will tell, based on the various debatable responses to the VR version. ![]() There is a lot to choose from, your platform has a ton of potential, we are waiting and hoping it is developed well. The heart of this is VR, and those of us who LOVE the VR version are begging for tools to create our own maps and content, whether those tools be in VR or not. It would be direct competition with other platforms such as Tale Spire, if done correctly. Originally posted by Lord Oribron:I have to admit that a non VR of this would be good. ![]()
